Pedagogical Contents

A good teacher should be able to master pedagogical content in teaching. When I made observations in class the first week, I gained knowledge from how to teach CPU Elementary School teachers.

A. Teaching methods of the teacher that you observed

One day before entering a new chapter, the teacher has given questions to students.So students already know what the questions are and what they will learn tomorrow.

At the beginning of learning, the teacher starts by giving questions to students. Those questions are past material. It aims to keep students remembering the past learning. The teacher gives the questions by selecting students randomly, or the teacher selects students who raise their hands first.

The teacher also has the names of students who have been designed according to their seats like this.

Then, the teacher explains in front of the class. Sometimes teachers also use video learning, this in addition to attracting more attention from students, also aims to help teachers in explaining learning. So students can get more learning references.

After that the teacher tells students to answer the questions he gave 1 day before. Then, the questions will be examined together. And at the end of the lesson, the teacher will ask for grades obtained by students.

B. Learning Materials and Innovation

Each class is equipped with a variety of learning materials and electronic devices that can help teachers teach. That is :

C. Sources of Learning and Technology

Learning resources and technology used by teachers are learning books, learning videos and question sheets to be filled out by students.

D. Authentic Assessment

Authentic assessment used by the teachers is

teacher gives quizzes and assignments to students, and writes the results of student grades in the teacher's grades book.
Teacher gives activities to students while learning to make such as making a project. Then the project is assessed by the teacher.
